Dr. Giampaolo graduated in 1969 from the
Universitá Statale of Milan, Italy. He did his post-graduate work in microbiology of food inspection, then did research and testing of animal vaccines at a pharmaceutical lab. Since moving to the United States in 1979 he joined the AVMA and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Northeast Philadelphia at this Frankford Avenue location, formerly Northeast Animal Hospital. He lives with his wife and 3 rescued pets: a Korean Jindo dog and two domestic cats. He likes to relax by listening to classical music, working out at the gym and cooking for family and friends.

Dr. Laura Tancredi was born and raised in Elkins Park and graduated from Cheltenham High School. She attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science and Nutrition. She attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts, and completed her clinical year at the prestigious Purdue University. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging, zoonotic disease and public health, and low stress handling.
Outside of the hospital she enjoys time with her husband, daughter, and "Coconut Retriever", Ryu.
